Final Cut Pro - The Benefits of Save As


Save As does more than allow you to change the name. Read this to find out.

Did you know that "Save As" has health benefits for your project files?

In short, "Save As" fixes internal errors that may be creeping into your FCP project. From time to time, make sure you go to File > Save As, give your project a new name, and save it.

I try to do a "Save As" on all my longer-term projects every 2 - 3 days.
