  • What's the difference between watching a live webinar or downloading it afterward?

    LIVE WEBINARS. The live webinars occur first, allowing you access to the information before anyone else. As well, live webinars allow you to ask questions of Larry and get them answered during the event via the Live Chat. As part of a group, you can learn from the questions others ask during the live event. All live webinar participants receive a free downloadable version of the webinar about five days after the event. Finally, attending live webinars allows you to earn free webinars (see below).

    WEBINAR DOWNLOADS are more polished versions of the live event and often include titles to help explain difficult concepts. While they provide the same information as the live event, they don't include the live chat or questions and answers at the end of the session. Also, they are available about a week after the original webinar. When you purchase a file for downloading, the file resides on your system so you can refer to it again in the future. Downloads don't quality for free webinars.

    The download version also does not contain any stutters caused by Internet latency or bandwidth congestion.

  • How can I earn a FREE webinar?

    We are very grateful for your support of our webinars. So, we want to say thanks by giving you the ability to earn free tickets! You have two options -- take a look:

    OPTION 1 - PURCHASE FIVE WEBINARS, GET THE SIXTH ONE FREE

    Here are the rules.

    * Purchase five webinar tickets and receive the webinar of your choice free.
    * This promotion started August 1, 2010, and expires Dec. 31, 2010. Free tickets must be used by Jan. 15, 2011.
    * There is no limit to the number of free tickets you can earn. Purchase another five webinars and receive another free ticket.
    * Webinars can be attended in any order, events don't need to be consecutive.
    * This promotion applies to live webinars, not downloads.
    * Free tickets are determined based on webinar purchases tracked by Larry Jordan & Associates, Inc. Free webinars do not quality for this promotion.
    * Viewers qualifying for free tickets will be notified by email.
    * We will send out monthly reports, via email, showing your current status.

    OPTION 2 - GET FIVE FRIENDS TO ATTEND A WEBINAR, YOU GET A FREE TICKET

    Here are the rules.

    * Get five friends to purchase any combination of webinars. Have them enter your name in the "Referral Name" field of the webinar registration form. When you get five people to sign up, you get a free ticket.
    * Your name must be entered in the Referral Name field in order to qualify. (Sadly, good intentions, but an empty field, don't count.)
    * This promotion started September 1, 2010, and expires Dec. 31, 2010. Free tickets must be used by Jan. 15, 2011.
    * There is no limit to the number of free tickets you can earn. Get another five friends to purchase webinars and receive another free ticket.

  • What can I do to prepare for a live webinar?

    Check the settings when you get your log in e-mail from us and load the Adobe Connect software on your system.

    To get ready requires three elements:

    Technical. We’ll send you an Adobe test connection diagnostic which you should run to be sure your system can support the webinar software.

    This diagnostic test will ensure your computer and network connections are properly configured to provide you with the best possible Connect Pro meeting experience. The diagnostic test checks for the following:

    1. Supported version of Flash Player

    2. Clear connection to Adobe Connect Pro

    3. Bandwidth availability

    4. Latest Acrobat Connect Add-in

    NOTE: The Acrobat Connect Add-in Test is not required to be installed. You'll be able to login to the webinar using the login link provided.

    Logistics. Larry’s seminars convey a lot of information in a short amount of time. Be sure to have your note-taking supplies handy.

    Questions. If you have specific questions you would like to get answered be sure to e-mail them to Debbie@larryjordan.biz so that Larry can, if possible, incorporate answers to your questions in his presentation

  • What time zone are the webinars? And if it’s 9 AM there, what time is it here?

    Webinars are Los Angeles, California time.

  • Where can I go to learn the agenda of what will be covered in the webinar?

    Webinars on Wednesday - This web page is updated every week on Sunday.

  • Help! The webinar is tomorrow - where’s my log-in info and password?

    When you register you will receive an e-mail confirming your charge. Within a couple of days (usually less than 24 hours) you will receive the log-in information and password for your webinar. Please be patient, especially if you register on the same day as the webinar. We haven't lost anyone yet!

  • Can I ask questions during the webinar?

    Yes, you can ask questions during the webinar via the live chat -- or send us your questions in advance for Larry to incorporate into his presentation. E-mail us at: debbie@larryjordan.biz.

  • Do I need a microphone or camera?

    No, you do not need a microphone or camera. You will be able to see and hear Larry in the classroom, as well as his presentation, but he will only know you by your chat.

  • What if I can’t take notes fast enough to catch every one of Larry’s great ideas?

    Webinar participants get a free downloadable copy of the webinar about five days after your webinar. We will send you an e-mail link when the file is posted.

    The download is a file that you can stop, start, rewind and replay as often as you wish.

  • Help! The webinar starts in three minutes - where’s my log in and password?

    It might be in your e-mail junk folder, you may have deleted it by accident, or missed it when it came in. Search in your e-mail in-box for “Seminar Registration” as your subject.

    In case you still can't find it, take a deep breath, and let us know that you need your log in info and we’ll get it to you as fast as possible. You can call us at - 1 (818) 879-5105.

  • How soon can I log-on to the webinar?

    You can log-on in 15 to 20 minutes before the webinar begins and just hang out. At this point, you can see other participants arriving and share comments via the Live Chat. We are not currently playing music before the event starts (however, you can hum quietly to yourself).

  • How will I remember to be online on-time for the webinar?

    If you use an iPhone, or other smart mobile device, we recommend using the handy calendaring device. You can set reminder alerts for 1 day before, 2 hours before and whatever kinds of warnings work best for you. Or, see the FAQ on “Alarm Clocks.”

    For our part, we’ll e-mail you a reminder the day before the webinar.

  • Can I download a webinar video (or any of Larry's tutorials/video) to an iPad?

    Yes, you can download the webinar after it has been posted, but you can't watch the webinar live, as it uses Flash. All our tutorial and webinar files are QuickTime movies, stored in a ZIP format. Computers can decompress ZIP files with no problem. But the iPad needs an additional application.

    • a. Download "GoodReader" for your iPad. This allows you to decompress a Zip file. It is available in the iPad App Store.
    • b. Enter the URL of the webinar file - the one we send you via e-mail - you want to download into GoodReader. This starts the download.
    • c. Unzip the file on your iPad.
    • d. Watch the movie.

  • I'm still running into problems, what do I do?

    If you have trouble logging in, please e-mail us at debbie@larryjordan.biz or call us at
    1 818 879 5105. Sometimes there's an error we can correct on our end.
