Succeeding in the New World of Tapeless & HD Video

The old days of recording standard-def images to video tape are quickly disappearing. Today, we are facing a bewildering array of video formats, acquisition technology, storage devices, and workflows which seem to change on an hourly basis. This four-hour session will help you succeed in this new world.

Designed for the new or experienced editor, the first half of this session looks at HD, the second half is designed for both SD and HD editors who want to get better organized, improve their trouble-shooting, and safely backup the right data.

Integrating Adobe Products into a Final Cut Workflow

Most editing projects require a variety of tools. While Final Cut Studio provides the core technology, most editors use a variety of other software to get jobs done. This four-hour session showcases how to use powerful, but little-known features in Adobe Production Premium software to do what can't be done in Final Cut itself.

This session is designed for Final Cut editors that want to be more productive, better organized, improve the quality of their projects, or discover new techniques they can use to impress clients, this seminar covers the following topics:

    • Using Adobe Bridge to find, organize and move files
    • Cleaning up video clips in Photoshop
    • Using Automatic Duck to move projects between Final Cut Pro and After Effects
